Programs
Intro to Competition/ Carry Prepardeness $150 (2hr)
This training is for anyone looking for a personalized experience in developing new skills and improving upon existing skills. This course is available on a one-on-one, or open enrollment drop in basis. Sessions are 2 hours in length.
The chief benefit and function of private instruction is that each session is custom tailored to the specific needs of the student(s). Typical sessions include a focus and expanded in depth instruction on the following:
- Proper Grip
- Trigger Control
- Proper Stance
- Breath Control
- Sight Picture/ Sight Alignment
- Alignment Follow
- Malfunctions and Clearing
- Student Concerns
- Holster Function
- Student questions and concerns
MD Wear and Carry Permit $305
Required 16 hour 2 part course, students will leave with an understanding of carry procedures, legal issues and use of force in addition to the following:
- Mindset
- Application requirements
- Introduce and Review Safe Gun Handling Rules
- Pistol Parts and Operation
- Ammunition knowledge and selection
- Cleaning and Maintenance
- Holster selection
- Maryland Firearms Laws
- Use of Deadly Force
- Additional Training
- Interactions with law enforcement
Live fire session
- Demonstrate Safety principals
- Demonstrate Marksmanship Skills
Successful completion of this course require students to shoot a qualification course of fire. The passing qualification requirement need is a 70% rating to qualify.
MD Wear and Carry Renewal $165 (8hr)
Our Maryland Wear and Carry renewal is a one day training. Maryland law requires eight (8) hours of training and proficiency with your firearm.Twenty-Five (25) rounds are required to be fired with a minimum passing score of 70 percent. Maryland law requires we cover the following for your renewal: Maryland Law, Firearm Safety, Firearm Operation and Mechanics of the gun as well as some basic shooting.
